Description

UZ Leuven is a university hospital where patients can expect specialised care and innovative treatments combined with humane attention and respect for each individual. Daily, nearly 10,000 passionate employees deliver the best possible tailored care. To continue guaranteeing the best possible care, it has been chosen to replace the existing DECT device system. The contract falls within the strategic choice of the Contracting Authority to evolve towards a “Mobile First” communication model whereby mobile devices (smartphones and specific basic phones) function as primary communication media for care and supporting processes. The requested solution is based on Voice over WiFi (VoWiFi) as the primary voice technology, supplemented with mobile networks where necessary and must support the phased dismantling and replacement of the existing DECT infrastructure. The Contracting Authority wishes for a solution that meets the following: - replacement of all DECT devices with smartphones and basic phones - integration with existing and new apps including nursing call systems, EPD, internal alarm systems. - high reliability for critical communication - at least 5 years of support on devices, updates and security patches. The contract includes the delivery of devices. The solution must comply with current legislation, NIS2, GDPR and legal framework around data processing.
