The City of Vantaa is organising a tender for the printing and distribution of Vantaan asukaslehti. Optionally, the service provider may offer stands where the magazine can be picked up at customer service points. Vantaan asukaslehti is an official publication of the City of Vantaa, which should reach all households. The magazine is produced in terms of content for the city's communications. The tender includes printing and distribution, but also new production models are considered before the start of the tender. The current paper size is tabloid, but the alternative magazine paper size is also included in the tender. The objective of the magazine is to stand out, especially as a free-distributed publication, from Vantaan Sanomat and other local newspapers. The procurement consists of the four-colour printing of Vantaan City's asukaslehti and distribution without addresses. The magazine is printed in 2–4 different issues (20–48 pages) per year. The distribution covers all households within the municipal boundaries of Vantaa during the contract period, as well as the offices, institutions and customer service points of the City of Vantaa. The distribution is carried out as an unaddressed distribution. More detailed technical requirements for printing and distribution can be found in Appendix 2 Technical Requirements of the Invitation to Tender. The agreement is concluded with one contractor, who is responsible for the production of the entire entity of the procurement. The exact date for the first printing and distribution is agreed during the contract negotiation phase. The distribution takes place on pre-agreed weekdays. The contract is 24 months in duration and the contract can be extended by two one-year options.
