As part of the restructuring of air rescue in Baden-Württemberg, the base of the rescue helicopter Christoph 41 will be permanently relocated from Leonberg to the BG Klinik Tübingen. Therefore, an air rescue centre for the stationing of the rescue helicopter, including a flight operations area, hangar, refuelling facility, crew and social spaces, and other usual infrastructure facilities of a rescue helicopter station, is to be installed on the site of the BG Klinik Tübingen. The BG Klinik Tübingen will be supported by the cost bearer DGUV in the construction of the air rescue centre. The air rescue centre will be constructed as an elevated structure in the south-eastern area of the site of the BG Klinik Tübingen. The platform height is approximately 16m above ground level. As preparatory measures, work on the adaptation and new construction of transport and civil engineering facilities is necessary. The new construction measures include the helicopter platform with pre-flight area and a hangar with refuelling facility.
