Slovakia – Construction work – D1 Turany - Hubová, stavebné práce

The subject of the contract is the construction of the motorway section D1 Turany — Hubová with a total length of 13.53 km, including the tunnels Korbeľka and Havran. The proposed motorway section includes a total of ten permanent bridge structures, four of which are directly on the motorway and two are eco-ducts. In addition to the permanent bridges, one temporary steel bridge is proposed over the Váh River, which is in the route of the temporary access during the construction of the motorway. To eliminate land take, to ensure the stability of the body of the motorway D1 and to protect against the effects of large waters, retaining and breast walls are proposed. As part of the construction of D1, 3 retaining walls and 2 breast walls are proposed. The construction area is crossed by various overhead and underground engineering networks - water mains, gas mains, high-voltage lines and VVN, VN, NN distribution lines, long-distance and local telecommunications lines and distribution lines. All affected lines will be relocated or protected to the extent required by the construction in accordance with the requirements of the individual operators. In the final section of the motorway D1 Turany — Hubová, there is a proposed Maintenance and Operations Centre Švošov, accessible by a new bridge over the Váh River, within reachable distance from the Hubová junction. The subject of the contract is precisely defined in Tender Dossier 1 to Tender Dossier 5.
