A two-story extension of a canteen with care rooms is to be constructed at the site of the Nikolaus-Kopernikus Primary and Secondary School, Schwarzwaldstr. 4, Hügelsheim. The canteen and lunch service operation is planned for the ground floor. The upper floor will be equipped with facilities for the care of schoolchildren. The existing school building was constructed in 1989/1990. Currently, the facilities at Schwarzwaldstr. 4 are insufficient to accommodate all primary school classes 1 to 4. Therefore, classes 3 and 4 are housed at the secondary school site at Ontario Str. 16 due to capacity constraints. Classrooms in the existing school building at Schwarzwaldstr. 4 have been converted into care rooms and a canteen. With the planned extension, all primary school classes will be cared for and taught at one location again. After completion of the extension, the renovation of the existing building with an update of the fire protection system is required, so that in the future all classes can be taught and cared for in the facilities at Schwarzwaldstr. 4. Additionally, as part of the extension, the construction of a drainage trench system is planned, which is intended to prevent flooding of the basement. Scheduled dates: - Submission of building application: May 2027 - Start of construction: November 2027 - Completion of extension: April 2029 - Renovation of existing building: after completion of the extension, mandatory within the summer holidays. HOAI: - For the extension work with the performance phases 3-8. - For the renovation work in the existing building with the performance phases 1-8. The order will be placed in stages. In stage 1, initially the performance phases 3 to 4 or 1-4 will be ordered, in stage 2 the performance phases 5-8. There is no legal entitlement to a total order. The planning services for the technical equipment for the plant groups 1-3 for the renovation work are part of the tendered scope of services. However, the order is subject to the proviso that, after completion of the extension work, no awarding, funding or budgetary reasons prevent the continuation of the existing contractual relationship. If, in particular due to funding requirements, it becomes necessary to award the planning services for the technical equipment for the plant groups 1-3 for the renovation in a separate tendering procedure, the client is entitled to refrain from ordering the renovation or to terminate the contract in this respect. No claims, in particular for ordering or compensation, can be derived from this by the contractor.
