The extension to the Stickgras Primary School is a one- to three-storey building with three parallel gable roofs and a flat roof area. The ground floor and upper floors have a clear room height of at least 3.00m. To improve lighting, there is an elongated roof lantern that acts as a light well down to the ground floor. There is a flat roof with extensive roof greening and gable roofs as purlin roofs. The gable roofs are equipped with colour-coordinated roof tiles and a photovoltaic system. The facade will be designed with facing brickwork. The new building blends in with its form and brick colour with the existing building structure. It consists of three rectangular building parts. The external dimensions of the connected building parts (width x depth) are approximately 57.24m x 37.88m in total. The ground floor has a large dining/ multi-purpose room, which is also to be used for school events and theatre performances. The ground floor also contains subject rooms, classrooms and a school library. The dining room has its own external access. There are also two covered entrance areas in the immediate vicinity of the stairwells. The 1st floor contains a learning landscape as well as further classrooms. This continues on the 2nd floor. In addition, the ventilation units will be housed in the western part of the attic. The roofing and sheet metal work trade includes the creation of a green roof in the flat roof area as well as the roofing of three differently sized gable roofs. The work includes a large-format light band as well as smoke vents and roof hatches. In addition, the rainwater drainage of the roofs is to be created.
