The Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein GmbH (short: VHH) is a partner in the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund and operates 180 lines with around 2,000 employees in the driving service and 800 buses at 18 locations in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. In this tendering procedure, the VHH, together with its subsidiaries (Ahrensburger Busbetriebsgesellschaft mbH (ABG), vhh.forward GmbH, Ratzeburg-Möllner Verkehrsbetriebe (RMVB) and Reisering Hamburg GmbH (RRH)), is acting as a bidding consortium, so that in addition to the VHH, all subsidiaries can call off from this contract. The VHH intends to conclude a new framework agreement for the supply of workwear and personal protective equipment for bus drivers, as well as the establishment and maintenance of an ordering portal. The supply of workwear and personal protective equipment includes the initial equipment of new employees as well as the supply of follow-up requirements. The establishment and operation of the ordering portal is intended to enable employees to independently call off their requirements for workwear and personal protective equipment. Both social and sustainable criteria are taken into account in the procurement.
