Germany – Environmental services – Biologisches Monitoring WRRL 2027 bis 2030 - Makrozoobenthos

Biological investigations of the macrozoobenthos (sampling, identification, evaluation) to assess the ecological status of flowing waters in Baden-Württemberg as part of the biological monitoring under the European Water Framework Directive (WFD) are to be commissioned. The study area comprises approximately 880 sampling sites, some of which are to be investigated twice, so that a total of approximately 1,120 investigations are to be carried out over a period of 4 years (from 2027 to 2030). In Lots 1 to 6, the same overview sampling sites are to be investigated in the years 2027 and 2030. The contract includes, in addition to the sampling of the biological quality component macrozoobenthos in Baden-Württemberg's flowing waters, the identification of the recorded taxa, the IT-based data processing, the evaluation and assessment of the data, the creation of a reference collection for quality assurance, and two consultation appointments per year at the LUBW in Karlsruhe.
