Ireland – Rolling-stock seats – 9738 - MKIV Seat Replacement

Iarnród Éireann would like to replace the seat covers with leather moquette on the Mark IV fleet to improve the vehicle appearance. The seat covering moquette on this fleet is starting to show signs of wear and is in need of replacement. The seat foams are also degrading and are required to be replaced IE are tendering for supply of seat foams and leather moquette seat covers that will fit directly onto the seat frames for the Mark IV fleet.
