Germany – Telephone and data transmission services – Vergabe Netzbetriebs- und Pachtvertrag im Rahmen eines Betreibermodells („Weiße Flecken 2“)

In the district of Lüchow-Dannenberg, the so-called "White Spots 1" have been successfully addressed within the framework of the existing federal and state funding programs, so that already substantial underserved areas have been supplied with gigabit-capable infrastructure. In addition, there are further contiguous funding areas that are to be developed in the follow-up program "White Spots 2". These are the three collective municipalities of Lüchow, Gartow and Elbtalaue, for which the corresponding funding has been applied for and provisional grant notifications are available. The Broadband Society Lüchow-Dannenberg mbH is planning and constructing the passive fibre optic infrastructure in the expansion area. After completion of the infrastructure, it is to be handed over to a network operator, who will take over the technical operation of the network, install the necessary active network technology and supply end customers in the expansion area with telecommunications services. The subject of this tender is the awarding of a concession for the operation of the network, which is still to be planned and expanded, in the three collective municipalities of Lüchow, Gartow and Elbtalaue in the supply area of the district of Lüchow-Dannenberg. The grantor reserves the right to award the contract on the basis of the initial tenders without entering into negotiations.
