The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) as the client and the State Building Management Region North-West as the building authority plan and direct the construction of a new building for the Federal Police Inspectorate in Bad Bentheim (BPB). To ensure the fulfilment of tasks, the new building for the Federal Police Inspectorate is necessary. Furthermore, there is an urgent need for structural maintenance and expansion at the current location. The new building is a 3-storey structure, planned as a solitary building on the southern part of the site. The external dimensions are approximately 42 x 42 metres. It features a landscaped courtyard. The new building will be constructed using conventional methods with a landscaped flat roof with PV systems and a brick cavity facade. Different brick sorting and joint designs, and possibly profiling, will create optical layering and horizontal window bands, which will design the facade while considering the functional areas behind it. The entrance area will have a pre-hung metal sheet facade. All wood products to be used must be proven to come from sustainable forest management.
