The duration of the DPS (Stage 1): 36 (thirty-six) months, from the date of publication of the notice in the eTED. Duration of the specific contracts (Stage 2): Contracts concluded in the execution of specific invitations (restricted procedures) within the system will have a duration of 18 (eighteen) months. The estimated value of the DPS is calculated for the entire 36-month period and includes a planned financial resource to ensure the emergence of extraordinary, specific or new medical needs of the healthcare facility. The quantities of medicinal products included in the initial Technical Specification (Annex No. 1) are indicative and cover the estimated consumption of the Beneficiary for an initial period of 18 months. The Beneficiary reserves the right, when conducting each subsequent specific order (call for tenders) at Stage 2, to change and update the quantities, as well as to add entirely new nomenclatures (medicinal products), in accordance with the real and current needs of the hospital, until the overall financial limit of the system is reached.
