The nature of the contract is a service contract, whereby the contractor(s) will perform two different but related services for both physical and digital delivery of; 1) Books, serial works and subscriptions (Lot 1) and 2) Daily, weekly and opinion papers (Lot 2). The objective of the contract for this tender is to (pro-)actively provide relevant expertise and information to the right person at the right time at the lowest possible cost and with the greatest possible ease of use. The maximum value is calculated over the duration of the framework agreement, including the options for extension and excluding VAT. The maximum value per lot is: Lot 1: € 100,000,000.00 Lot 2: € 15,000,000.00
