The municipality of Molenlanden uses an external software broker for the purchase, delivery, and management of software licenses. The current agreement is expiring. At the same time, it has become apparent from the current situation that the service provision can be improved in certain areas, particularly with regard to proactive advice, insight into license usage, governance, and cost management. The Procuring Authority therefore has the need to put the software broker function back out to market and future-proof it. It is intended that the software broker will develop from a primarily executing party into a proactive and expert cooperation partner, supporting the municipality in optimizing license use, managing costs, and signaling relevant market developments.
