Switzerland – Construction work – Sanierung Talacherstrasse "Ost"

The Municipality of Unterengstringen intends to replace, in 2027, the existing water pipe from 1965/1971, DN 125 mm, in the Talacherstrasse section from Bergstrasse to the municipal boundary of Oberengstringen with a FZM DN 125 mm over a length of 380 m. In the Stufengraben, as a pre-activity for the Weid reservoir, a FZM DN 400 mm will be laid. Two new hydrants (10 m) will be relocated and 14 properties will be newly connected up to behind the property boundary (115 m). During the trench backfill, an empty pipe DN 100 mm for a signal cable will be laid over the entire length, incl. 3 shafts. Within the construction site perimeter, for the EKZ, the low-voltage network will be expanded with 8 pipes over 400 m with 2 new distribution cabinets and the public lighting will be replaced with 11 new lanterns by the Municipality of Unterengstringen. For Swisscom, two new shaft covers will be relocated and the cable pull-in will be carried out over 100 m. After the replacement of the utility lines, the Municipality of Unterengstringen requests that, starting in summer 2027, the contractor, with a second team, follow up with the road rehabilitation (road 1,700 m2 / 2 x footpath each 700 m2) in the section from Bergstrasse to the municipal boundary of Oberengstringen. The two turn-ins to Talacherring as well as the exit of Langacherstrasse (each 250 m2) will be redesigned and pavement cushions with ramps will be created. 12 manhole covers will be replaced, 18 new street drains will be created and 1,500 m new granite edging will be laid.
