The subject of the contract is the provision of consultancy services for the preparation of seventy (70) Feasibility Studies (preliminary) through the conduct of research in patent databases, with the aim of supporting the procedures for the submission of invention disclosures from research groups of members (DEP/EDIP/ETEP, postdoctoral researchers, doctoral candidates and researchers) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as well as the other bodies of the Technology Bridge Network, which include the University of the Aegean, the Democritus University of Thrace, the Hellenic Open University, the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens, the University of Crete, the Technical University of Crete and the Harokopio University, whose disclosures are addressed to the Technology Transfer and Innovation Unit "Archimedes" of EKPA, within the framework of covering the needs for the implementation of the physical subject, and more specifically the Work Package PE 1 related to the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights and Action 1.1 concerning the preliminary research in patent databases for the assessment of the possibility of granting patents through the drafting of preliminary research reports for inventions disclosed by members of EKPA and selected disclosures of members of the Network, within the framework of Subtask No. 2 entitled "EKPA/ARCHIMEDES Technology Transfer Services" of the Action "Technology Bridge Network" with code OPS 6018942. The contract is not subdivided into sections, as it is considered necessary to address the deliverables as a single set of services that will be executed by a single contractor, with a unified methodological approach, within a strict timeline and in continuous coordination with the Contracting Authority, given that the award to more than one contractor would result in a lack of coordination, heterogeneous methodological approach and risk of untimely and unobstructed completion of the work.
