Description

The public contract concerns a framework agreement for the purchase, configuration, installation and maintenance of electronic cabinets or setups for efficient and safe storage and picking of medication and medical articles, this on nursing departments and medical-technical services, integrated with the ADT, EPD and Pharmacy software of the hospital. These integrations are of crucial importance as the cabinet setups must be directly deployable. Given that our pharmacy is staffed 7/7 and the cabinets are active 7/7-24/24, it is also necessary for the tenderer to offer interventions 7/7-24/24. The nursing departments are supplied centrally (from the pharmacy). We aim to distribute 80% of the prescribed medicines via the pharmacy, 20% is picked by the nurse from the medication cabinets/setups. For the medical-technical services, 100% of the prescribed medication is taken from the electronic medication cabinet/setup. Medication safety is an important point of attention in the JYZ. The cabinet must support the nurse maximally in correctly removing the medication. The setup must also support the traceability of the removed medication maximally. Access to the electronic cabinet must be regulated by badge control, where it is possible to define authorizations per user (or user group). In addition, the system offers the possibility, after access to the full cabinet, to give authorized users(groups) access to certain locations, also by badge control. After a period of inactivity, the system provides the possibility to automatically lock the cabinet to prevent unauthorized access to the cabinet. Links with our current packages are crucial to continue to guarantee our continuity and efficient operation. On some departments, there is only limited space provided for the placement of the cabinet setups and there is no possibility to relocate other functions or to enlarge the premises. There is a mandatory site visit after the selection phase. However, if potential tenderers also wish to carry out a site visit during selection, this can be optionally requested. This site visit can however not replace the mandatory visit after receipt of the actual tender (after selection). The duration of the framework agreement concerns 10 years for the rollout of the replacement of the current cabinet setups. Of our current 32 cabinet setups (variously composed), at least 20 cabinets will be purchased during the 10-year duration of the framework agreement, with a maximum of 40 cabinet setups. The estimate is to replace 18 setups within 5 years.
