A two-storey extension of a canteen with care rooms is to be constructed at the location of Nikolaus-Kopernikus Primary and Secondary School, Schwarzwaldstr. 4, Hügelsheim. The canteen and lunch service operation is planned for the ground floor. The upper floor will be equipped with facilities for the care of schoolchildren. The existing school building was constructed in 1989/1990. Currently, the premises at Schwarzwaldstr. 4 are not sufficient to accommodate all the primary school classes 1 to 4. Therefore, classes 3 and 4 are housed at the secondary school location at Ontario Str. 16 due to capacity reasons. In the existing school building at Schwarzwaldstr. 4, classrooms have been converted into care rooms and a canteen. With the planned new construction, all primary school classes are to be cared for and taught at one location again. After completion of the new building, the renovation of the existing building with an update of the fire protection is necessary, so that in the future all classes can be taught and cared for in the premises at Schwarzwaldstr. 4. Additionally, as part of the new construction, the creation of a rigid drainage system is planned, which is intended to serve as a measure to prevent flooding of the basement. Scheduled dates: - Submission of building application: May 2027 - Start of construction: November 2027 - Completion of new building: April 2029 - Renovation of existing building: after completion of new building, mandatory within the summer holidays. The cost estimate (created 10/2023, indexed to 02/2026) amounts to: Extension Renovation Cost Group 300 2.500.000,00 € gross 2.250.000,00 € gross 250.000,00 € gross Cost Group 400 1.000.000,00 € gross 880.000,00 € gross 120.000,00 € gross. The subject of this tender is the structural design according to §§ 49ff. HOAI - For the extension measures with performance phases 3-6. - For the renovation work in the existing building with performance phases 1-6. The contract will be awarded in stages. In stage 1, initially performance phases 3 to 4 or 1-4 will be commissioned, in stage 2 performance phases 5-6. There is no legal entitlement to a full order. The structural design for the renovation measures is part of the tendered scope of services. However, the order is subject to the condition that after completion of the extension measures, no procurement, funding or budgetary reasons prevent the continuation of the existing contractual relationship. If, in particular due to funding requirements, it becomes necessary to award the structural design for the renovation in a separate tendering procedure, the contracting authority is entitled to refrain from awarding the renovation or to terminate the contract in this respect. No claims, in particular for awarding or compensation, can be derived from this by the contractor.
