I. Subject of the contract: The subject of the contract is the supply of oncology drugs for the Wojewódzki Szpital im. Zofii z Zamoyskich Tarnowskiej in Tarnobrzeg, divided into 6 lots. II. Description of the subject of the contract: 1. CPV Code according to the Common Procurement Vocabulary: 33652100-6 Antineoplastic agents 2. The detailed description of the subject of the contract is contained in Annex No. 2 to the SWZ – Price Form. 3. The trade names given in the price form of the SWZ are examples. The contracting authority allows for the submission of equivalent offers, i.e. pharmaceutical and therapeutically equivalent. Basic concepts and definitions regarding the issues of drug equivalence; modified according to Kaliszana and Janickiego. Pharmaceutical equivalence Pharmaceutical equivalence refers to a situation where the compared drugs contain the same amount of active substance in the same (or essentially similar - e.g. tablets, capsules) dosage form, comply with the same comparable standards and are intended for administration by the same route; pharmaceutical equivalence does not guarantee therapeutic equivalence, as differences in the range of excipients and the production process may cause differences in dissolution and bioavailability, and consequently in the action of the pharmaceutical. Therapeutic equivalence Two agents are therapeutically equivalent if they are pharmaceutically equivalent and if, after administration in the same dose, their effects in terms of both efficacy and safety are as expected based on appropriate studies. 4.
