The present study concerns the selection of a contractor or contractors to prepare studies and obtain the necessary permits for the restoration of 3 privately-owned buildings of e-ΕΦΚΑ, specifically the buildings at: 1. 39 Sofokleous Street, Athens, 2. 26 Peiraios Street, Athens, 3. 3-5 Papastratou Street, 2 Dafniou Street and 2 Gravias Street, Piraeus. It is noted that the first two buildings are already designated as protected, while the third building, although not officially designated as protected, is considered highly likely to be designated as such, since its age exceeds 100 years. These three buildings are currently in a very poor condition and are classified as dangerous. Thus, the main purpose of preparing the relevant studies is, above all, to save these buildings from total collapse in the coming years, with the implications this has for the risk of accident and/or injury (although preventive measures (placement of trenches/metal structures) have already been taken to prevent them. Furthermore, it is considered that, due to their location, the aforementioned properties, when reconstructed, will constitute significant buildings for exploitation (through their leasing) and the expectation of significant revenue for e-ΕΦΚΑ from them.
