Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – newPark Datteln - Ökologische Planungsbegleitung von Artenschutz- und Naturschutzmaßnahmen im Rahmen von Freianlagenplanung

The newPark GmbH Planungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH is planning and developing the newPark industrial site on the Datteln municipal area. newPark is an innovative site offering for large-scale industrial and commercial projects of particular importance for the economic development of the region. It is designated in the Landesentwicklungsplan of North Rhine-Westphalia (LEP NRW) as an area for large-scale projects. The first construction phase of newPark will be implemented on the Datteln municipal area. The land-use plan for this phase is legally binding. The landscape and external works design, up to performance phase 3, with integrated compensatory, compensatory ecological facility (CEF) and damage mitigation measures, is available for the area covered by the land-use plan No. 100 for newPark Datteln (1st phase area). Outside the planning area, in the immediate vicinity (external areas), there are additional planning and action areas for compensatory, replacement, CEF, species protection and damage mitigation measures. For both areas, the measures sheets and maps, based on expert reports (including species protection report, environmental impact assessment, damage mitigation measures), are available. These have been integrated into the draft of the current landscape and external works design. Currently, the landscape and external works design for parts of the 1st phase within the planning area and on external areas in the direct vicinity of the planning area is being continued. The landscape and external works designs focus on the planning (initially LP 4-6) to implement CEF measures, species protection measures, compensatory and replacement measures (ecological balance), damage mitigation measures. The subject of this procedure is the specialist ecological supervision of the specialist planning of the previously described landscape and external works design for parts of the 1st phase, which essentially concern species protection and ecological balance.
