Germany – Floor-covering work – ehem. Kraftwerk-Mitte in Dresden; KWM 26 Energiemuseum; VE 270 Bodenbelag

Planned is the energy renovation and expansion of the existing Energy Museum on the Kraftwerk Mitte site in Dresden. The renovation of the building serves to enhance the building as a museum. The new construction will house offices, a foyer with an event space, a sanitary facility, and a core for access. In front of the museum, a forecourt and an external staircase connecting the existing building and the new construction will be created. The buildings have the following dimensions:

• Existing building L x W: approx. 28.00 m x 18.85 m

• New building L x W: approx. 18.05 m x 17.50 m (27.00 m cantilever 3rd floor)

The following services are required:

Floor covering

• approx. 475 m² unicoloured linoleum flooring, thickness 2.5 mm, incl. substrate pre-treatment on floating cement screed with/without underfloor heating

• approx. 95 m² levelling compound, thickness 3 mm

• approx. 225 m elastic PUR edge joint

• approx. 45 m expansion joint profiles
