Switzerland – Construction work – 13043.10 / 244-01 Lüftungsanlagen, Instandsetzung & Erweiterung Betriebsgebäude Seepolizei und Schifffahrtskontrolle Oberrieden
Description
**BKP 244-01 Ventilation Systems Current Situation**
The Canton of Zurich is carrying out the renovation and extension of the operational building of the Lake Police and Maritime Control at the Oberrieden site. The existing base will be comprehensively renovated, structurally upgraded, and expanded with a new building. The operation of the Lake Police will be maintained during the construction period through separate temporary facilities. The goal is a modern, safe, and energetically renovated base that will meet operational requirements in the long term.
**Project Overview**
The project includes all ventilation systems of the main project and is divided into the following areas:
• New ventilation systems for existing structures and extensions
• New ventilation control centre in the attic with central installation of ventilation units
• Special ventilation for oxygen and fuel storage, compressed air centre, and lift shaft
The site is located at Seestrasse in Oberrieden (ZH). The work will be carried out during ongoing operations and in several phases.
**Project Goal**
The project aims to create a fully renovated and operationally safe base for the Lake Police with modern, compliant, and energy-efficient ventilation systems. The ventilation systems are designed for reliable use, high availability, and robust, maintenance-friendly execution and are an integral part of the overall project.
**Required Contractor Services**
Qualified contractors are sought for the implementation of the ventilation systems in the main project, including all services required for this within the scope of work. For better orientation, the building permit plans are attached to this invitation to tender. They provide interested contractors with a first overview of the location, scope, and environment of the work.
**Ventilation Work**
As part of the construction project, all ventilation systems will be completely newly installed. The existing installations will be demolished by the contractor. A total of eight ventilation systems will be implemented: for changing rooms and WC facilities, storage and ancillary rooms, oxygen and fuel storage, workshop, parking and washing hall, offices, as well as for the compressed air centre and the lift shaft. The ventilation units will be centrally installed in the newly created control centre in the attic. Various supply and exhaust air ducts will be led double-walled and insulated over the roof to the lift zones. The fuel storage is designed as an Ex zone; the affected system components will be explosion-protected. The regulations of building class III (BWK III) must be strictly observed. The field devices of the ventilation will be supplied and installed by the ventilation contractor. Control cabinets and electrical schematics will be designed and supplied by the planner of the building automation. The work will be carried out in phases and coordinated with the ongoing operation as well as the other contractors involved in the project.
