Germany – Software package and information systems – ESG-Datenmanagementsystem (SaaS)

The ESG data management system serves as a centrally controlled, specialized Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for the integrated procurement, processing, quality assurance, and provision of external ESG data for the KfW Group. The eXternal ESG Data LIeferstrecke (hereinafter also “XEDALI”) replaces the previous decentralized and heterogeneous procurement and integration of external ESG data sources with a standardized ETL process (Extract – Transform – Load). The application will regularly query ESG data at the technical interfaces to various external data providers, convert it into a uniform data model, and make it available for use in subsequent processes. It thus provides users with a consistent data source for external ESG data. XEDALI thereby makes an essential contribution to the technical support and fulfillment of new supervisory requirements (in particular the EBA guideline on ESG risks (EBA/GL/2025/01), MaRisk, and the VSME standard, and the requirements from BCBS239).
