The area along Ottostraße, where the current construction yard of the city of Ettlingen is located, is to be developed into a residential area in several steps. The first step for this is the planning and construction of a new construction yard on the premises of Stadtwerke Ettlingen GmbH in the Ettlingen industrial estate, Hertzstraße; the feasibility study prepared by the office PW Schmidt, Pforzheim a few years ago served as the basis for the previous investigations. The planning selection procedure for the award of the object and open space planning according to VgV, which is being advertised for this purpose, is structured in two stages. In the first stage, formal suitability criteria and, among other things, references are requested. Based on this, up to 5 offices will be selected for the second stage, which will then be asked to develop solution proposals to be presented in a bidder dialogue.
