Slovakia – Refuse collection services – Nakladanie s komunálnymi odpadmi a drobnými stavebnými odpadmi na území mesta Košice

The subject of the contract is divided into two parts: 1. Part – Municipal Waste (Municipal Waste) The subject of the contract is the provision of services in the field of handling municipal waste in the sense of this description of the subject of the contract, including services related to the collection, transport and processing of municipal waste, disinfection and cleaning of collection containers, as well as the operation of collection yards in the territory of the city of Košice, including the provision of sorted collection. The requirements of the contracting authority for the provision of sorted collection are set out in Part 1, point 1.3 of the Description of the subject of the contract. The services must be provided in accordance with the waste hierarchy resulting from Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on Waste and Amending and Supplementing Certain Acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Waste Act") and with other related legal regulations. The expected date for the commencement of service provision is 1 January 2027. The duration of the service provision is set at 120 months, i.e. until 31 December 2036 in the event of the contract coming into effect from 01.01.2027. If this is not the case, the duration of the contract will be 120 months from the date of the contract coming into effect. With the exception of the operation of collection yards, all services must commence on the date of the contract coming into effect. In the event that the required number of collection yards is not available at the time of commencement of service provision, their commissioning will be governed by the conditions specified in the part devoted to collection yards, allowing for their establishment and commissioning in three phases, as further described in the description of the subject of the contract. The City of Košice, as the contracting authority, declares, within the scope of its competencies, cooperation in legislative and material steps necessary for the proper and effective provision of the subject services, including the provision of necessary permits, informing the public and coordinating the development of the waste management system in its territory. 2. Part – Kitchen Biodegradable Waste (KBW) The subject of the contract is the provision of services in the field of handling municipal waste (biodegradable kitchen waste - waste catalogue number 20 01 08) in the sense of this description of the subject of the contract, namely services related to the collection, transport and processing of biodegradable kitchen waste. The services must be provided in accordance with the waste hierarchy resulting from Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on Waste and Amending and Supplementing Certain Acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Waste Act") and with other related legal regulations. The expected date for the commencement of service provision is 1 January 2027. The duration of the service provision is set at 120 months, i.e. until 31 December 2036 in the event of the contract coming into effect from 01.01.2027. If this is not the case, the duration of the contract will be 120 months from the date of the contract coming into effect. The services must commence on the date of the contract coming into effect.
