Netze Magdeburg GmbH, as the network operator for the state capital Magdeburg, is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the electricity distribution networks. The planned development of the two residential quarters "Ramsburg" and "Elbhafen Magdeburg" will result in an increase in load in the Salbke district. This increase in load cannot be managed without a new substation. The "Elbhafen Magdeburg" residential quarter is to be developed on the former site of the Fahlberg List chemical plant. The "Ramsburg" is being developed on the former site of the Reichbahnausbesserungswerk (RAW). The two planned areas will result in a load increase that focuses on electrical supply to all areas of life. In addition to everyday items, this includes the electrification of individual transport and the heat supply to residential and commercial properties. So far, no further substation has been necessary in the southern part of the city or the southern outskirts. The supply could be ensured by the slightly more northerly located "UW Süd", the more westerly located "UW Südwest" and the more southerly located "SW Welsleber Straße". In the future, this could only be ensured with a new substation, "UW Südost". The subject of the present invitation to tender is therefore the preparation and implementation of construction planning services incl. construction supervision for the performance images (HOAI 2021) building, open spaces, civil engineering structures and structural design for the construction of a new substation at the location Magdeburg Faulmannstraße (general planning contract). More specific information on the scope of planning can be found in the task description. The award is to be completed by the end of Q1 2027. Planning and the associated measures are to begin immediately after the order is placed (approx. March 2027).
