Belgium – Miscellaneous health services – Uitvoeren van extern transport voor het Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg

The Contracting Authority wishes to conclude a framework agreement for external transport performed by an external transport company. The contract involves the transport of, among others:  medical instruments, sterile sets  diagnostic steel and laboratory materials  medication  food and chilled goods

This transport must comply with strict conditions regarding safety, hygiene, temperature control, traceability and discretion. The contract encompasses journeys between the campuses of the Contracting Authority, to other hospitals in Belgium or an occasional journey abroad. The journeys have, on the one hand, an urgent character where a high degree of flexibility and response time (< 30’- 24u/7d) is expected and, on the other hand, a non-urgent character (24u/7d). Furthermore, there are journeys with a fixed character where fixed transport schedules are used and there are journeys with a relatively fixed character where deviations can be made from a transport schedule and/or location. The contract is divided into the following lots: - Lot 1: Ad-hoc journeys with urgent and non-urgent character - Lot 2: Journeys with relatively fixed character - Lot 3: Food refrigerated journeys with fixed character - Lot 4: Journeys with lorry with fixed character

The contract will be described in detail in the second phase of the award procedure, namely the qualification phase.
