The Kymenlaakso well-being area is establishing a dynamic procurement system for the well-being area's use, where the subject of the procurement is the procurement of physiotherapy services for medical rehabilitation. The subject of the procurement are the physiotherapies for medical rehabilitation that fall under the responsibility of the Kymenlaakso well-being area. Medical rehabilitation refers to those forms of healthcare operations that aim to improve and maintain the functional capacity of the rehabilitee in physical, psychological, and social terms. The services are described in more detail in Annex 2 Service Description. This is a procurement procedure designed by the procurement unit for procurements according to Section 12 of the Procurement Act (1397/2016). The system is established as a procedure similar to a dynamic procurement system (DPS). This is a call for participation regarding the procurement. The procurement procedure is described in more detail in the call for participation's Annex 1 Procurement Procedure Description. To participate in the system's internal tender competitions, a service provider must submit a participation application by responding to this call for participation. Submitting a participation application does not oblige the provider to submit a bid. The subjects of the procurement in the dynamic procurement system are the following classes: Class 1: Physiotherapy for support and movement organs Class 2: Neurological physiotherapy Class 3: Psychophysical physiotherapy Class 4: Orthopaedic manual therapy Class 5: Podiatric physiotherapy Class 6: Allasterapy Class 7: Hippotherapy Class 8: Animal-assisted physiotherapy Class 9: Animal-assisted group physiotherapy Class 10: New class Class 11: New class Class 12: New class The procurement unit reserves the right to establish classes 10-12 (new class) later during the validity period of the dynamic procurement system. A service provider may submit a participation application for one or more classes. The procurement unit aims to tender classes 1-9 within the system during the summer-autumn of 2026. The Kymenlaakso well-being area does not commit to ordering a specific amount of service per month, per year, or during the contract period.
