The subject of the contract is the performance of the necessary actions for the cleaning of the sewerage networks (Main Collectors) and their associated elements, managed by EMASESA. The service involves the extraction of sludge, soil and any element that impedes the correct functioning of the collectors, guaranteeing the hydraulic capacity and the reduction of the pollutant load of the discharges, especially during rainfall episodes. The contract notably incorporates environmental obligations, such as the responsible management of all waste generated, compliance with the current legislation on waste and contaminated soils, the prevention of uncontrolled discharges and the protection of the natural environment (fauna, trees, soil and water), as well as the reduction of emissions and the efficient use of resources. In addition, safety and occupational health measures are established for the execution of the works in confined spaces and environmental monitoring and restoration of the environment after the completion of the works are promoted, in line with the principles of sustainability and circular economy.
