Germany – Architectural and related services – Ortsgemeinde Kinderbeuern - Kindertagesstätte "Zauberwald" Kinderbeuern: Anbau, Umbau- und Sanierungsmaßnahmen, Los 1: Objektplanungsleistungen für Gebäude und Freianlagenplanung

The contracting authority and client, the municipality of Kinderbeuern, Kondelstraße 24a, 54538 Kinderbeuern, wishes to expand the existing two-group daycare centre "Zauberwald" in Kinderbeuern into a three-group facility based on the Kita-Zukunftsgesetz. Planned are a nest group for children under three years of age as well as two regular groups with a total capacity of 54 children. The current facility does not meet the demand with a maximum of 32 places. The performance phases 1-4 of the building and technical building services planning have already been completed. Due to the forecasted declining number of children in the municipality, the needs assessment had to be reviewed by the municipality and youth office, which is why the awarding of performance phases 5-9 HOAI was initially postponed. In the meantime, the decision on the continuation of the construction measure on the basis of the existing planning has been made, so that the awarding of performance phases 5-9 HOAI can take place. In addition, the services of the structural design are to be awarded in a parallel tender in performance phases 1-6. The measure comprises two extension areas as well as extensive renovation and refurbishment work in the existing building: - Larger extension with U3 group room, sleep room, changing room, storage room, corridor with cloakrooms, disabled WC, staff WC, staff room and storage room; - Second extension with technical room, WC/changing room for the domestic worker as well as new kitchen with dishwashing area, antechamber and magazine; modification of the entrance area/vestibule; renovation and refurbishment of the washroom; - Renovation and refurbishment measures in the existing building: creation of a boot corridor at the side entrance, demolition of internal and partition walls to create ancillary and bistro areas, renewal of floor coverings, installation of new acoustic ceilings, energy-saving measures (ceilings, facade, floor) and barrier-free access; - Overhaul and reconstruction of the outdoor facilities and accesses as well as supplementation of enclosure and gates, where necessary. During the implementation, the ongoing daycare centre operation will take place in an alternative location. The planning should be carried out promptly after the order has been placed. The implementation of the project is planned to be completed by the end of 2028.
