The Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL) plans to construct a new signal box. As the capacity of the existing signal box proves insufficient during extensions and transformations in the south-west section of the rail network, CFL plans to build a new, modern signal box in Pétange. The project is part of a comprehensive expansion and modernisation programme aimed at improving the performance and reliability of the infrastructure. This call for tender concerns an HVAC works mission including the design, supply, installation and commissioning of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary systems. The services will include ductwork and piping networks, air handling units, regulation and control systems, as well as integration with railway equipment (non-exhaustive list). Particular attention will be paid to adherence to deadlines, workplace safety, coordination of stakeholders and quality of execution. The project aims for DGNB Gold environmental certification.
