France – Road-maintenance works – Travaux de Matériaux Bitumineux Coulés à Froid sur le réseau routier et les domaines gérés par le Département du Var

This framework agreement concerns Cold-Lay Asphalt works with the main objective of preventive and curative maintenance of the road network's surface layers. Its essential goals are:

- Improve adhesion: by restoring the roughness (macrotexture) of the road surface to ensure user safety.

- Waterproof the support: to protect the road structure from water infiltration and frost, thereby extending its lifespan.

- Provide an environmental response: by using a cold technique that limits energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional asphalt mixes.

Information on the execution of previous contracts is provided in Article 2-3-7 of the Consultation Regulations (RC). In the context of certain new works (excluding maintenance), the services, subject of this consultation, may fall under a safety and health coordination mission of category 2 or 3 as defined by the Labour Code.
