Description

With the help of barrier-free, visually guided, and individually adaptable assistance systems, work processes for people with disabilities should be made understandable, traceable, and as independent as possible. For this purpose, digital solutions are to be used at six workstations and, in particular, image, video, and sign language instructions, Pick-by-Light technologies, as well as camera-assisted quality and error controls. The aim is to support work processes, reduce error rates, and strengthen participation in working life. The clients should be actively involved in the development, testing, and continuous further development of the systems. The project includes the procurement and implementation of the necessary hardware and software, the creation of digital work instructions, the conduct of training for specialists as well as clients, the piloting of the solutions and the subsequent rollout to further work areas. In addition, accompanying evaluation and quality assurance measures are to be carried out and a guide for the sustainable use of the developed solutions is to be created. The aim of the project is to build digital skills, promote self-reliance and work motivation, as well as improve inclusion, equal opportunities and social participation. The project is to be designed as a participation and inclusion project, in which digital technologies are specifically used to enable people with disabilities to have improved development opportunities and a higher degree of self-determination in their daily work.
