Germany – Architectural and related services – Realisierungswettbewerb Hirsauer Straße und Nagoldufer Pforzheim-Dillweißenstein

The city of Pforzheim aims to fundamentally enhance the Dillweißenstein district as part of the "Dillweißenstein Redevelopment Area." The spatial focus extends along Hirsauer Straße and the Nagoldufer, including all public intermediate areas. The area around Ludwigsplatz is excluded, as it has already been redeveloped in the recent past as part of the former Dillstein Redevelopment Area. Considering the strict regulations from nature conservation and the complex requirements of the current traffic situation, measures will be developed that lead to an enhancement of the district and improve the quality of stay for the local residents. The competition is announced as a single-stage, non-open realisation competition according to RPW 2013 ("Guideline for Planning Competitions") with interim assessment and 16 participants. Four participating offices will be preselected. The subject of the competition is the development of an open-space and traffic planning for the Dillweißenstein Redevelopment Area in Pforzheim.
