Subject and objective of the tender

The SWB Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter "Contracting Authority" or "CA") plans to construct and subsequently operate a grid-connected standalone battery energy storage system (BESS). The subject of this tender is the turnkey supply, construction, commissioning and handover of a fully functional BESS. The system is intended for use in energy markets (e.g. arbitrage trading, control reserve). The tender is EU-wide. The bill of quantities is deliberately designed to be functional in order to enable innovative and economically optimized solutions, without favouring specific brands.
