The land-based ground investigations for the bridge alignment west of the Köhlbrand can be divided into 6 different reasons. The different reasons are assigned to the respective sub-projects (TP) as follows:

- Traffic junction West (KNW) embankment structures and pile load test areas (PPB areas) - TP01W

- Traffic junction West civil engineering structures - TP02

- Power bridge West (SBR West) and pile load test areas - TP03W

- Power bridge West land reclamation - TP03LG

- Power bridge West temporary supports - TP03HS

- Demolition of old Köhlbrand bridge (KBB) - TP05

The investigations west of the Köhlbrand crossing cover the areas of Waltershof, Rugenberger lock and the land area Pylon West. The location of the associated investigations can be found in the site plans of Annex 1.1 and 1.2. The quantities of the enclosed schedule of services are to be used as a basis for calculation. As part of the ongoing planning, the number of investigations may decrease or increase in some areas and change in location.
