Description

Maintenance and servicing of heat generation plants

1. Project description

DEW21 currently operates a total of 1,805 decentralised heat generation plants and heat transfer stations for the generation and distribution of heat in and to buildings. The technologies used for heat generation are currently operated predominantly with natural gas (> 90%) and to a lesser extent with liquefied gas, heating oil, electricity, wood pellets and solar thermal energy. In addition to a large number of individual supply points without a district heating network, there are also around 20 quarter solutions owned by DEW21. Here, the respective heating plant operates the decentralised heat generation plant and a district heating network with connected heat transfer stations to the respective building or consumer. The locations of the supply points are mainly within Dortmund and in the adjacent cities and municipalities. In addition, there are individual locations outside of Dortmund in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. An expansion of the geographical locations and supply points is not fundamentally ruled out, but the target group focus is on Dortmund and the adjacent cities. The installed heat generators and assemblies are, among others, from the following manufacturers: Buderus, Wolf, Viessmann, Weishaupt, Brötje, Junkers, Vaillant, PEWO, Danfoss, Wilo and Grundfos.
