Spain – Insurance services – Contratación de pólizas de seguros de asistencia en viaje para el ALUMNADO, VOLUNTARIADO, PDI y PTGAS que participen en programas de movilidad y cooperación internacional de la Universidad de Alicante.

The subject of the contract consists of the procurement by the University of Alicante, in two lots, of six policies for TRAVEL ASSISTANCE INSURANCE for students, volunteers, teaching and research staff, and administrative and service staff (PTGAS and PDI) participating in any of the University of Alicante's international mobility and cooperation programmes. The procurement of travel assistance insurance is proposed in two lots: Lot 1. Travel assistance for students, volunteers and the university community of foreign universities participating in the University of Alicante's international mobility and cooperation programmes. Lot 2. Travel assistance for teaching and research staff and administrative and service staff participating in the University of Alicante's international mobility and cooperation programmes. Any of the bidders has the capacity to present the group of incoming and outgoing students to be insured, so the possibility of the same bidders participating in the tender is not restricted, and given the technical, operational and continuity reasons in the insurance of these groups, it is convenient for the same bidder to provide the service, so we consider it convenient to tender the said groups in a single unit. Within Lot 1, four policies must be issued, as described in the PPT, including students and volunteers traveling abroad and the university community of foreign universities hosted by the University of Alicante. A specific Lot 2, with the subscription of another two policies, as described in the PPT, is intended for members of the Teaching and Research Staff and Administrative and Service Staff (PTGAS and PDI) due to the particularities of the trips made by these, whether by duration, activity and/or destination.
