Construction of Container Management Facility: For the Munich Waste Management (AWM), a new facility is being built in the Riem district at the De Gasperi Curve. The new site complements the existing main hub in Truderinger Street and serves as the central container management hub for AWM. The new building consolidates all logistical and administrative processes related to waste containers (bins and containers), including delivery, storage, cleaning, repair, and distribution of the containers, as well as the associated administrative and personnel functions. The plot of land is located on the eastern edge of the Riem trade fair grounds, on the east side of the De Gasperi Curve, adjacent to the landscape park. The new entrance will be located opposite the Sigmund-Riefler Curve. The developable area (including slopes/banks) is approximately 11,560 m², with a further 6,280 m² of compensation areas, resulting in a total site area of approximately 15,700 m². The construction project is divided into two parallel main construction measures: the erection of the operational building with a carport and the erection of the administrative building.
