Belgium – Refuse disposal and treatment – Ophaling en verwerking van de afvalstromen: restfractie, PMD, papier/karton, glas, plastic folie, GFT en keukenafval (Swill)

This contract involves the collection and processing of various household and similar commercial waste streams, namely: residual waste, PMD, paper/cardboard, glass, plastic film, GFT and kitchen waste (Swill). The contractor is responsible for the integral management of these streams, including collection, transport, and processing in accordance with applicable legislation, as well as relevant environmental and quality standards. This contract does not include waste with confidential documents and private waste. The contract is divided into the following lots:

Lot 1: Waste in the territory of the City of Ghent

Waste streams: Residual waste – PMD – Paper/Cardboard – Glass – Plastic film

Explanation: Collection and processing for the entire territory of the city of Ghent.

Lot 2: Waste in the territory of Melle & Merelbeke (surrounding municipalities)

Waste streams: Residual waste – PMD – Paper/Cardboard – Glass – Plastic film

Explanation: Collection and processing for the municipalities of Melle and Merelbeke (excluding Ghent).

Lot 3: Waste in the territory of Ghent, Melle & Merelbeke (joint area)

Waste streams: GFT – kitchen waste (Swill)

Explanation: Collection and processing of organic waste (GFT and Swill) over the entire working area of Ghent, Melle and Merelbeke.
