The contract covers the buyer's need for vehicle recovery services. The buyer has approximately 260 trams, which make up the largest part of the vehicle fleet, but also includes passenger cars, light and heavy vehicles. Some vehicles can travel on both roads and tramways, known as "dual-mode vehicles". A need for recovery services may arise after an acute incident such as derailment or collision.
