SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT: The subject of the contract is the supply of lead scrap contaminated with a Pb content of at least 92%. The contract covers the supply of approximately 600 Mg, with an average of approximately 50 Mg per month. The physicochemical parameters of the subject of the contract are: • metallic lead scrap, • cables, sheaths, wires, sheaths up to 2m in length and 5cm in diameter; • coils with a diameter of 1m; • granules with a maximum diameter of 20 cm; • pieces with a maximum diameter of 20 cm. Contamination with foreign material must not exceed 3%. The subject of the contract (lead-bearing raw material) must be free from radioactive contamination. The presence of artificial radionuclides (anthropogenic origin isotopes) is not permitted. The subject of the contract must meet the radiological safety requirements specified in the Atomic Law, Journal of Laws 2001 No. 3 item 18. The content of natural and artificial radionuclides in the raw material must not cause the dose limits of ionising radiation for workers and the population to be exceeded and must not qualify the raw material as radioactive waste within the meaning of the applicable regulations. The percentage content of the following elements in the supplied material must not be greater than: • Bismuth (Bi) – 0.020% • Arsenic (As) – 0.09% • Silver (Ag) – 0.0040% The detailed description is contained in the SWZ.
