Greece – Pipes and fittings – ΠΡΟΜΗΘΕΙΑ ΥΛΙΚΩΝ ΥΔΡΕΥΣΗΣ - ΑΡΔΕΥΣΗΣ

The Municipality of Nea Propontida manages a vast water supply and irrigation network. Naturally, there are many damages and losses, and in order to respond to their repair, materials are required. Also, in recent years, this need has become immediate and urgent due to unforeseen events and drought, throughout the year and mainly during the summer period. CPV: 44163000-0 Pipes and fittings. The State, recognising the adverse situation in which our Municipality had found itself due to prolonged drought, with decision no. A3515/27-8-2024 of the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, declared the Municipality of Nea Propontida to be in a state of Civil Protection Emergency, for the management of the consequences that may arise from the occurrence of drought phenomena in the Municipality, while with decision no. A3366/24-07-2025, the time period of the Civil Protection Emergency declaration was extended, which has now expired but the consequences remain. To cope with this adverse drought situation, among other interventions, the replacement of the outdated water supply networks is required, where the networks fail to respond and serve the population, resulting in frequent damages, accompanied by interruption of water supply. Characteristic were the examples of the previous summer period, where settlements remained for many hours without water. Also, the replacement of the outdated water supply network materials, will contribute to the reduction of leaks and consequently to the assurance of the quantitative sufficiency and the qualitative improvement of the distributed water. The estimated value of the contract amounts to 658.145,45 € including VAT. (Budget without VAT 530.762,46 € & VAT 127.382,99 €). A detailed description of the physical and financial subject of the contract is given in the appended study of the present notice. The quantities of the study are indicative. Modification of the quantities between the lines of the contract is permitted. Quantities can be modified with items included in the contract and at the offer price that the contractor gave for each item. This modification is considered non-essential as it does not change the economic balance of the contract (Article 132, paragraph 1e), as a necessary precondition is that these changes will range up to the limit of the contract amount. The contract will be awarded with the award criterion the most economically advantageous offer based on price. Offers are submitted for the entire contractual subject. The present contract is not subdivided into sections and is awarded as a single entity, because the physical subject is single and indivisible in order to be immediately operational for the supply. The duration of the contract will be for two years from the signing of the contract, or until the budget is exhausted.
