Finland – Construction work for bridges and tunnels, shafts and subways – Kulosaaren metrosillan korjausurakka

The Helsinki Metropolitan Area Urban Transport Company (Kaupunkiliikenne) is organising a tender for the repair of the Kulosaari metro bridge on behalf of the Helsinki City Transport Department (HKL), in accordance with the scope of the procurement notice and its attachments. The Kulosaari metro bridge (U-6458) is located in Helsinki on the metro line between Kalasatama and Kulosaari stations. The Kulosaari bridge is a waterway bridge that crosses Vanhankaupunginselkä. The western end of the bridge is located inside the Kauppakeskus REDI shopping centre. The bridge was completed in 1973 and its length is 420 m. The repair works will be carried out during a metro traffic interruption, scheduled to take place from 05-11/2027. Preparatory works must be completed before the traffic interruption begins. The repair of the Kulosaari metro bridge will be carried out as a complete contract. The scope of the contract is described in the contract programme and the attachments to the invitation to participate. The contractor acts as the main contractor and as the principal responsible party as defined by law, being responsible for both the site management obligations and the site services. These obligations and services are outlined in the contract programme and the general terms and conditions (YSE 1998). After the acceptance of the contract, the main contractor's site management obligations and obligations related to site safety continue until the deficiencies and errors detected at the acceptance of the contract have been rectified. Information and documents related to the participation phase must be prepared and submitted via the Tarjouspalvelu.fi service. The invitation to participate must include all requested information and documents. All documents attached to the invitation to participate must be submitted to the contracting authority via the Tarjouspalvelu.fi service. Site visit during the invitation to tender phase: The contracting authority will organise a site visit for tenderers during the invitation to tender phase in April 2026. The contracting authority requires that the tenderer has participated in the site visit before submitting a tender. Questions will not be addressed, nor will answers be given, during the site visit. All questions related to the competition must be submitted in writing via the Tarjouspalvelu.fi service.
