Germany – Engineering services – Objektplanung für Freianlagen für die Neugestaltung des Schulhofs im Zuge des Umbaus und der Erweiterung an der Grundschule Kirchhain
Description
Landscape design for the redesign of the schoolyard as part of the renovation and expansion of Kirchhain Primary School. In the eastern central area of the district lies the central town of Kirchhain with approximately 16,250 inhabitants distributed across 13 urban districts, of which the central town of Kirchhain with approximately 8,300 inhabitants forms the largest area. The primary school in the central town is a 4-track primary school, currently attended by approximately 360 students in grades one to four, as well as a so-called preparatory class and two preparatory courses, and taught by about 30 teachers. The three existing school buildings located in the northern part of the site, arranged as individual, elongated structures parallel to each other, are accessed via individual entrances and connected to each other by an external arcade. Most students arrive from the north via Pestalozzistraße onto the school grounds. In the south, there is an additional single-story building that primarily contains facilities for childcare. In anticipation of the planning of the renovation and expansion measure, a conceptual design was created as part of the negotiation procedure for the building design by the planning architects Dirschl.Federle_Architekten GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, which serves as the basis for the current landscape design and is attached to the tender documents for information. For the implementation of the landscape design at Kirchhain Primary School, the new outdoor areas to be designed have been divided into 3 areas. Sub-area 1 includes the outdoor area between the future main entrance of the primary school and the northern Pestalozzistraße with an area of 1,523.76 m², sub-area 2 contains schoolyard area I, adjacent to the three connected school buildings with an area of 1,628.98 m². For these two sub-areas, the client intends to progressively commission the performance phases 1 to 8 for the planning and subsequent implementation of the landscape measure. The third sub-area in the southern part of the property between the aforementioned schoolyard area I, adjacent to the existing school building for childcare and the southern Ziegelgartenstraße with an area of 2,657.85 m² is not part of the construction implementation. For this sub-area, a planning approval-ready design plan is to be created as part of performance phase 3 of the commissioning stage I for the overall measure. With the creation of the planning approval-ready design plan for the entire landscape of Kirchhain Primary School, the creation of a flooding report for the entire school site (in anticipation of a planning approval) is part of the commissioning stage I (Phases 1-3) of the current planning services and will be listed as a special service.
