P+R Kralingse Zoom is a parking facility along the A16, consisting of a surface-level car park and a multi-storey car park. The purpose of the parking facility is to divert motorists from the city centre by offering a parking space at the edge of the city in combination with good public transport connections to the centre at an attractive rate. The current Kralingse Zoom car park consists of 7 levels, including 2 smaller ramp levels and 5 full levels. In the design and construction of the car park (phase 1), provision was already made for a possible vertical extension in the future (phase 2). This European Restricted Procedure concerns the above-mentioned phase 2: the extension/ addition of 3 levels.
