Germany – Application work of anti-corrosive coatings – Instandsetzung D002 Stahlviadukt Barmbek , Projekt Brücken Barmbek

The bridge structure, dating from 1918, is a truss bridge with 18 superstructures in trough and deck construction with plate girders. The spans of the individual superstructures range between 18.6 m and 48.5 m. The structure spans several tracks of the HOCHBAHN, parts of a HOCHBAHN depot, S-Bahn tracks, an S-Bahn storage facility, a freight bypass track with overhead lines, private and public areas, and the street intersection Hellbrookstraße/Rübenkamp to a height of up to 14 m above GOK. The following measures are to be carried out in essence: - Local repair of the corrosion protection by making good. - Steelwork, steelwork maintenance - Concrete repair - Partial renewal of the drainage pipes. The contract involves extensive and demanding corrosion protection, steelwork and concrete maintenance measures with high requirements for occupational safety and execution quality.
