Switzerland – Road transport services – Fahrleistungen im Limmattal

The subject of this tender is transport services and operations management for public scheduled transport (ten day network lines and three night network lines) in the Limmattal region from the timetable change on 12 December 2027, in accordance with the tender documents. The scope of services amounts to approximately 2.2 million scheduled kilometres and approximately 140,000 scheduled hours per timetable year. The 32 operationally necessary vehicles (16 standard and 16 articulated buses) must be taken over from the current operator. Garage situation and operating sites: Parking spaces for at least 32 vehicles must be guaranteed by the supplier during the first phase (at least 3 to a maximum of 5 years). In a second phase, from 2030 at the earliest, a complete move to the new site of the VBZ bus garage, which is still to be built in the Limmattal, is mandatory.
