Germany – Electronic meters – Kontrollelektronik für Experimente mit supraleitenden Schaltkreisen

Freistaat Bayern, vertreten durch die Universität Erlangen-NürnbergGermanyPublished on Jul 21, 2026
Deadline passed

Description

The central electronics system for research on superconducting circuits in the context of quantum computers is a control and measurement device that can play arbitrary waveform generator with carrier frequencies in the GHz range and read out the system response of the sample. As part of the installation of an additional cryostat setup, our chair requires such a control and measurement device for operating up to 32 qubits. Central to the design of our cryostat setup is the concept of feeding the signals into the cryostat via hybrid control lines that can simultaneously transmit DC and baseband signals for the flux control of the qubits as well as microwave signals for driving qubits and reading out resonators. The control and measurement device being tendered must be able to provide the microwave control signals for all 32 signal lines. For the flux control of qubits, these microwave signals on 24 of the 32 signal lines should be combined with baseband signals from the control and measurement device being tendered and a DC voltage from a separate voltage source.
